Our Journey for Dustin's Justice..

Thank you for taking the time to read this web site, all of Dustin's Family and Friends are on a mission to bring awareness to the recent events that have taken place in our life, and hope some sort of resolution or contentment can arise from this site.

Here is a brief summary for those of you who are not familiar with Dustin's Death:

Jonathan Singleton was a 22 year old man that chose to drive home drunk, taking Dustin's life, who did not have a choice. We as American's took faith in our justice system and it let us, and many others down. While most of us cringe at the fact this could have been any of us in the Killer's seat, or Dustin's seat...the conclusion to date on this case is...Dustin's Dead, and Jonathan Singleton who confessed to this 1st degree Manslaughter charge, is now serving 1 weekend a month in Jail. For a sentence of 7 years, meaning my Brother's life is only worth 168 days total...District Judge Bruce Sewell of the Wagoner County Court House in Wagoner, Oklahoma said "Jonathan made a terrible mistake, all of you have to understand that life will go on. It is going to cost us $15,000.00 a year to keep him in a prison cell." (this is all in the transcript case #CF-03-23) So if you are considering criminal activity make sure you do it in Wagoner County. As pathetic as that is...this county seems to think the judicial system can't afford to incarcerate a self confessed, guilty felon who commited first degree manslaughter.

We are on a mission, my Brother never celebrated his 25th Birthday. What is the best gift we could give him now on this birthday, April 8th...is for us to have letters written of how unjust this case is, please browse the site, and let us know what you think. Email mom@mydustin.com and be sure to include your information. We will compile all letters for the District Attorney's Office. Thank you for your time. --The Gunter's
